Janet Flora holds an MFA in writing from The New School. Her nonfiction has appeared in Forge, The Yalobusha Review, Sanskrit, and many other literary journals. Her essay, “The Goodbye Ceremony,” was awarded first prize for best prose when it was published in The Willow Review.
Her short fiction has appeared in The New Orleans Review, North Dakota Quarterly The Hurricane Review, The Portland Review, Hawai’i Pacific Review and other publications.
